Matt Waldman
Davis could be a productive RB2 in a lot of NFL backfields. He's a strong straight-line runner with excellent route and receiving skills. In some respects, Davis would have been a discount verison of Tyler Allgeier if Davis were available on the open market.
Look for the Jets to incorporate Davis and Allen into the weekly gameplan, but not at a volume that will disrupt Breece Hall's potential to deliver top-15 fantasy value at his position.
If Davis is called upon to earn a true split in a two-headed backfield committee, he's good enough to deliver a fantasy RB3 floor and a fantasy RB2 ceiling.

Isaiah Davis to miss a few weeks
New York Jets RB Isaiah Davis (knee) will be sidelined for at least two weeks because of a knee injury, according to head coach Aaron Glenn.
Braelon Allen back to 100 percent
New York Jets RB Braelon Allen (knee) said Saturday, June 13, that he is back to 100 percent after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. Head coach Aaron Glenn said he wants to employ a 'three-headed monster' in the backfield, and that was the plan last season before Allen's injury. RBs Breece Hall, the starter, and Isaiah Davis are the other backs in the equation. Allen also added that he hopes kick returns, which is how he hurt his knee, are going to be a thing of the past.
Breece Hall to have company in backfield
New York Jets RB Breece Hall is expected to have plenty of company in the backfield, as head coach Aaron Glenn said Saturday, June 13, that he is planning to use Hall, RBs Braelon Allen and Isaiah Davis as a 'three-headed monster' in the backfield. He said that was the plan last season until Allen suffered an injury. However, after signing Hall to a three-year, $43.5 million, it's still likely Hall will see his fair share of touches.
