New York Jets WR Isaiah Williams caught 2 passes for 73 yards and a touchdown on 3 targets in Sunday's 23-12 loss to the Chicago Bears. He was projected for 4.3 fantasy points (half-PPR) and finished with 14.3.
Door could open for bigger Kenyon Sadiq role with Mitchell questionable, Taylor out
Jets rookie TE Kenyon Sadiq could see a bigger role in the passing game in Sunday's Week 3 game at Detroit, with WR Adonai Mitchell (finger) questionable after two straight limited practices and TE Mason Taylor (thumb) out. Sadiq has five catches for 38 yards on six targets across the first two games, plus a rushing touchdown in the season-opening win over the Titans. If Mitchell doesn't play, WR Isaiah Williams would likely be the No. 2 receiver behind WR Garrett Wilson. Head coach Aaron Glenn said the Jets will elevate either WR Sterling Shepard or WR Tyler Johnson from the practice squad for receiver depth.
Penix's return should unleash Robinson against Packers' stout run D
Mike Spofford of Packers.com reports that Green Bay's run defense, which ranks second in the NFL allowing just 2.85 yards per carry, will face a stern test in Falcons RB Bijan Robinson on Thursday Night Football. Robinson has 155 rushing yards and 99 receiving yards through two games, but Atlanta's offense has been limited by backup QB play; starter Michael Penix Jr. is set to return from injury against Green Bay. Packers defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon said of Robinson, "The offense is running through him, so we've got a big-time challenge... We've got to minimize him as much as we can." Linebacker Zaire Franklin called Robinson's change of speed "as good as it's gonna get in this league."
