McMillan suffered a neck injury that limited him for much of the 2025 season. While healthy in 2026, the Buccaneers hedged against his recovery over the past two seasons -- acquiring Emeka Egbuka in 2025 NFL Draft and Ted Hurst in the 2026 draft.
This limits McMillan to a slot role where he remains a potential understudy to Chris Godwin and could end up splitting time with the electric Tez Johnson if Godwin gets hurt.
McMillan has a volatile profile as a backup slot receiver/flanker hybrid based on his potential and his spot on the Buccaneers depth chart. Monitor the health of the depth chart before investing in McMillan as a redraft commodity.
