Johnson wasn't liked by two coaching staffs in Pittsburgh. Green Bay have traded for him after the Josh Jacobs situation exploded. The running back cupboard was bare in Green Bay and at this stage Johnson is as good a bet as anyone else.
Matt Waldman
Johnson is a talented wide zone runner who made mistakes last year and landed in the Steelers' doghouse. Traded to Green Bay just before September. He'll be the RB3 while Josh Jacobs is on the commissioner's exempt list.
Don't count on Johnson having a signficant factor right away, if at all, but don't rule out the possibility if injuries become a factor and you're shopping the waiver wire.
