Lamar Jackson

At his peak, Lamar Jackson is fully deserving of a high ranking. With a new head coach and play-caller, and coming off a down year, his current ADP essentially reflects his ceiling. That introduces some risk, but it’s a gamble worth considering. The quarterbacks ranked behind him carry similar, if not greater, downside, yet none possess Jackson’s same league-winning upside if the coaching changes unlock his best form. Even at QB2, he may require a leap of faith, but the potential reward still outweighs the alternatives.

Jackson is still one of the premier cheat codes in fantasy football. His rushing ability provides a safety net that almost no other quarterback can match. Even with Jesse Minter taking over as head coach, Jackson remains an elite, set-and-forget option every single week.

There's really only two primary reasons for Jacksons' 2025 performance: offensive line woes, and Jackson playing through five different injuries.

Jackson played through injury for much of 2025. He still managed a healthy completion percentage and an impressive 8.44 yards per attempt. 

Derrick Henry isn't slowing down. Zay Flowers had a career year. Mark Andrews and Rashod Bateman faltered, but they are often second and third reads. Guess who lacked time to make great throws on second and third reads? 

Baltimore's offensive line will be the key. Last year, both guards faltered and that led to early interior pressure. This year, Vega Ioane and John Simpson are massive upgrades. They should limit any flaws we'll see at center and shut down quick interior pressure that killed the passing game. 

The Ravens have never had a deep pool of receiving talent and Jackson still thrived. With a better OL, Jackson will look more like the MVP he's been recently.
