"Last year's incredible rookie crop overshadows his slower start, but the pedigree and improved play-calling are inviting."

Matt Waldman
"
Rome Odunze is an easy target for fantasy analysts to project as the breakout option in Year Two of his career. He's a good route runner with strong hands and ball-carrying skills who can win deep.
It's worth noting that Odunze will be the primary vertical option in Ben Johnson's offense. This doesn't make him a "Sacrificial X" who only runs vertical routes to clear out the underneath zones for D.J. Moore, Luther Burden, and Colston Loveland, but it will be a component of his role.
Vertical receivers generally earn a lower catch percentage and fewer targets. This is likely the case for Odunze. Expect 100 targets for Odunze rather than 120-plus that we'll see with Moore and Burden. If Moore gets traded or Burden doesn't earn significant playing time, it will favor Odunze's fantasy ceiling.

Ben Cummins
"
He's one of the best athletes at the wide receiver position the NFL has ever seen. He weighs 212 pounds and still ran a 4.45 40-yard dash and posted a 4.03 shuttle, a 39" vertical, and a 10'04" broad jump. He was incredible in college, racking up 167 receptions for 2,785 receiving yards and 20 touchdowns over his final two seasons (27 games). Odunze is the total package and is the number one Bear you should target this season. He projects to receive a massive value boost now that Ben Johnson is in charge.
