Skyler Bell to make NFL debut, take reps with Joshua Palmer ruled out
Bills rookie WR Skyler Bell will be active and "play a role" in his NFL debut Monday night against the Rams, head coach Joe Brady said on Saturday. Bell, a fourth-round pick, is expected to play many of WR Joshua Palmer's snaps, and possibly more if WR DJ Moore (shoulder) cannot play. Palmer has been ruled out after he "twisted up" in practice and is undergoing imaging.
Skyler Bell might struggle to routinely play
Buffalo Bills WR Skyler Bell has shown good separation skills and releases at the line during scrimmages. However, Bell's ball skills have held him back, and he appears to be behind the top four WRs DJ Moore, Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman and Joshua Palmer at this point.
