Scouting Report

Skyler Bell shows that late breakouts can have many causes. Bell started his career at Wisconsin as a three-star receiver after his senior year of high school was canceled. After a redshirt freshman season in 2021 and two years removed from game action, Bell was second on the team in receiving in 2022. He fell down the depth chart on a loaded Wisconsin team that included current Titan Chimere Dike and fellow 2026 draft hopefuls Will Pauling and Vinny Anthony before transferring an hour from his hometown to Connecticut. He immediately led Connecticut in receiving in 2024. He exploded in 2025, setting a school record in receptions and touchdowns and becoming a finalist for the Biletnikoff. Bell capped his career with a standout appearance during Shrine Bowl week.

Bell is an explosive technician. His quickness on crisp routes stands out as he is comfortable at any depth. He accelerates quickly, possessing top-end speed to stretch the field vertically. His ability to separate in the short and intermediate areas makes him ideally suited for the modern NFL passing attack. Bell has a strong chance to land on Day 2 of the draft.

Rundown

Bell is a polished receiver with explosive ability who finished as a finalist for the Biletnikoff award. His well-rounded game can complement any passing attack.
