Terrance Ferguson

Ferguson is a second year tight end who is being presumed to see an increase in targets. With a solid depth chart and last years surprise Colby Parkinson around, Ferguson will not be handed the keys without a fight.

The Rams have a lot of weapons at their disposal, but Ferguson is working his way into that group with strong play and the athleticism to benefit from mismatches. He may have some big games here and there, but heavy volume is not expected. 

Ferguson's fantastic offseason could force Sean McVay's hand in an offense lacking a third receiving weapon behind Puka Nacua and Davante Adams. If he earns consistent snaps, his athleticism and big-play ability give him weekly TE1 upside at a throwaway ADP.

Ferguson has excellent height and size. He's fast enough to stretch a seam and earn position in the second level of zones as he breaks to the boundary. 

There are concerns with his attack of the football because he's a notorious clap-attacker. He's at his best when he's catching the ball uncovered. 

Ferguson should earn more targets this year, but don't expect the Rams' TE-by-committee to disappear. Drafting Max Klare is another indication that Ferguson will remain a big-play option at the position, but not a consistent fantasy starter.
