TreVeyon Henderson

Doubts remain about TreVeyon Henderson in the Patriots offense. Especially with Rhamondre Stevenson and his consistent performance. Henderson however has an upside that the team will be keen to tap into. A breakout threat with every touch and an average of 5.1 yards a carry, with double digit touchdowns and he could become elite very quickly. If the team trust him. 

Probably needs a Stevenson injury to be consistent for fantasy. Monitor offseason/camp for year two bump buzz.

Henderson heads into 2026 after a rookie season that saw him reach over 1,000 total yards and nine touchdowns as New England's change-of-pace weapon. While Rhamondre Stevenson still blocks his path to a true workhorse role, Henderson's game-breaking speed gives him standalone flex value and immediate RB1 upside if he can polish his pass protection skills. 

Bust potential at his current ADP if he spends the season playing behind Rhamondre Stevenson. But if Stevenson misses games, he'd immediately vault into the top five at the position, making the reward worth the risk.

TreVeyon Henderson's speed and pass-catching are enticing aspects of his game. When Rhamondre Stevenson got hurt, the Patriots rolled with Henderson and rode out the inefficiencies per touch and it led to big plays. 

Still, Henderson's down-to-down efficiency isn't on the level of Stevenson. His power and footwork against disruptive plays in the backfield aren't as refined as Stevenson, and Henderson's pass protection and route running need improvement, too. 

Stevenson is the slower back, but he's the better all-around option. Mike Vrabel understands this as a former linebacker and as a coach who had strong years with a power running game in Tennessee. 

Look for a split that's close to 50/50, but with Stevenson earning slight edges in volume as runner and receiver.
