Henderson seems to have outplayed his competitors and is likely to open the season as the unquestioned starter. Then we will see what that means

TreyVeyon Henderson is a dual-threat RB who's going to see a hefty amount of snaps during his rookie year in New England. He and Drake Maye will be the centerpieces in a Mike Vrabel offense that specializes in running the ball. Rhamondre Stevenson will still be involved to a degree, but Henderson offers more value in every facet that the running back position requires.

Henderson is a home run hitter. He may be the best playmaker in New England.

TreVeyon Henderson is an explosive pass catcher on a team that needs them. While the receiver room remains lackluster, Henderson could have 80 or more targets as a rookie, which would catapult him into the top ten dynasty rankings fairly quickly. If he doesn't, he's still a big play threat with a three-down skillset and will be a big part of the Patriots offense for years to come.
