Matt Waldman
Goodson has always been an underrated commodity in the NFL. He pushed the Packers' backfield during the preseason as a rookie, showing off strong receiving skills and explosive athletic ability.
Goodson wound up with the Colts where he authored big plays as a third-down/change-of-pace runner. Now in Atlanta, Goodson will likely earn the RB3 role behind the Robinsons.
If pressed into service as a lead back, Goodson could have fantasy value as a RB2/RB3, especially behind Atlanta's offensive line. This is an unlikely outcome, but it's good to know the upside of talents lurking in the background.
Jeff Bell
An off-the-radar back, Goodson likely profiles as the passing-down compliment to Brian Robinson if Bijan Robinson were to miss time. A core special team role gives Goodson a strong path to the Falcons' RB3 job.

Seven players added to practice squad
