Mustapha had a productive IDP outing with the added work, compiling 12 tackles (6 solos) and one tackle for loss against Houston. Alignment-wise, Mustapha saw 37 of his 80 snaps up in the box, slot, and defensive line areas, per PFF. After seeing a full-time role this week, Mustapha is a fine safety waiver wire addition.

Jaylinn Hawkins returned from his hamstring injury that kept him from playing in the Patriots' last two games. As expected, Hawkins was right back in his starting role, playing all 54 defensive snaps in Week 8. Hawkins had a solid IDP outing in his return, collecting five tackles (4 solos) and snagging his second interception of the season against Cleveland. If Hawkins was dropped while unavailable, he’s a solid waiver wire safety target.
