This week, he saw an uptick in usage, playing 59 defensive snaps (73%), recording eight tackles (3 solos) and forcing a fumble against Arizona. Shemar James continues to don the green dot for the Dallas defense. While Overshown isn’t seeing an ideal full-time snap share, he’s an option in deeper IDP leagues for those looking for linebacker options.

Finally, rookie CJ Allen carved out an IDP-relevant role for the Colts defense. Allen led the Indianapolis linebackers in snaps, playing a season-high 45 defensive snaps (83%), producing 10 tackles (4 solos), one tackle for loss, and one sack against Jacksonville this week. As for the other Colts’ linebackers, Akeem Davis-Gaither played a season-low 36 snaps (67%), Jaylon Carlies played 25 snaps (46%), and Austin Ajiake saw 11 snaps (20%). Hopefully, Allen’s role continues to trend up, and he’s worth scooping up off the waiver wire after his encouraging Week 8 outing.
