Barnes' role isn’t ideal for tackle efficiency, as he splits his time in the box and out on the edge. However, Barnes had a solid IDP outing in Week 9, playing all 62 defensive snaps, collecting 5 tackles (4 solos), two tackles for loss, and one sack, giving him sacks in back-to-back games. Barnes’ steady role makes him an option in leagues where you start 3-4 linebackers if you’re in need.

Payton Wilson’s snap shares have been a roller coaster this season, with the Steelers mixing up their deployment at the LB2 spot. However, in Week 9, with Cole Holcomb (illness) out, Wilson saw extra work, logging 66 defensive snaps (85%). Per usual, Wilson was productive with his ideal volume, producing a team-high 14 tackles (10 solos) and snagging an interception against the Colts. Malik Harrison (knee) saw just 22 snaps (28%) in his first game back from IR. Holcomb's return could throw a wrench into things, but Wilson is worth scooping if available in shallower leagues to see if he earned a steadier snap share going forward.
