Staff Eliminator Picks, Week 6

This has been a very popular feature, so this year Footballguys once again is presenting the Eliminator Pool Challenge, where staffers have to pick a team to win each week.

Just one? That sounds easy, but here is the catch – you can only pick the team you choose in a given week once all season long.

Many contests and pools out there get pretty big, so an Eliminator (or Survivor) Pool can go 18 weeks.

Here are the specifics:

• It lasts until one person is alive
• Pick one winner per week
• If you are correct, you stay alive
• If you are wrong, you are eliminated
• If you miss a week, you are eliminated
• You can only use each NFL team once
• If all of the people still alive lose, those people come back the following week
• When one person remains (this person is the champion), the game will restart for fun

• One person had to drop out due to time constraints and has been removed

Last Week's Results

Tons of in-game sweat last week as the Vikings, Patriots, and Ravens had to make either major or last-minute comebacks to get wins. Only Davenport and Brimacombe (on Tampa Bay and Dallas, respectively) had it easy.

But in the end, everyone picked a winner, and that's all that matters.

Out of 11 selections, only three teams were named:

With no one on an island, the contest definitely can't end this week. But it could get really interesting if the Colts fall to the Texans
