The biggest drop for Brady this season is his career-low 4.0% touchdown rate (calculated per completion). Lost in the shuffle are his career-best 1.0% interception rate and lack of any physical dropoff. Outlined heavily in my New Reality article this week, Brady is poised to be one of the best dynasty buys at the position to embrace the market decline and bet on the bounce back plus the possibility of him returning to play in 2023 and beyond.

Acquiring Brady for any non-Round 1 future pick has been the theme of this week's dynasty trading. As a contender, especially if adding Brady to an unstable QB2 situation on the depth chart, is a boon to push down the value of the 2023 2nd.

• Key trade idea: Brady for Cade Otton, Sam Darnold, 2023 3rd

Before offering a future 2nd or similar package, start with multiple 3rds or a package like this one. Numerous deals are getting closed for discount rack prices.

• Key trade idea: Brady, 23 1st for Kyler Murray, 23 2nd (1QB)

To show an example of leveraging Brady's value in a 1QB format, this returns a future pick upgrade to a 1st as well. The downside if Brady does not return in 2023 is mitigated by the 1st, a tough-to-acquire asset from any quarterback in 1QB leagues not named Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen.
