Roundtable: 8 WRs Trending Up Prior To Free Agency

Jeff Bell's Roundtable: 8 WRs Trending Up Prior To Free Agency Jeff Bell Published 03/09/2023

Free agency is just around the corner. With it, comes changes in dynasty player values. Our staff gathers together to give a preview of players trending in positive or negative directions. On deck is wide receivers tending up.

Elijah Moore, NY Jets

Kyle Yates - People have seemingly forgotten about Elijah Moore from a fantasy football perspective. At this time last year, you couldn't acquire Moore from anyone in your league, no matter what you were offering. Now, fantasy managers seemingly want nothing to do with him after a rough year. However, New York is about to get a quarterback upgrade in some way, shape, or form, and that's going to mean better things for Moore.

Garrett Wilson, NY Jets

Jason Wood - Garrett Wilson was dynamite as a rookie, despite uneven quarterbacking that sometimes devolved into downright bad play. It seems a foregone conclusion that the Jets will add either Aaron Rodgers or Jimmy Garoppollo. Either of those veterans will add stability and upside to the Jets' passing attack that could launch Wilson into the genuinely elite at the position.

Tyquan Thornton, New England

Zareh Kantzabedian - New England Patriots sophomore and former second-round pick wide receiver Tyquan Thornton is a good bet to see increased opportunities in 2023. He is a one-trick pony, but he is a pony that has elite speed and burst. Thornton suffered a clavicle injury in the 2022 preseason and a knee injury during the regular season. I love the prospect of him becoming a more rounded player and one of New England's top threats in 2023.
