With Week 1 nearly wrapped up, the Injury Roundup highlights several marquee players who unfortunately went down. Below, I break down each injury and outline the fantasy football implications moving forward.
Key: Position Player, Team | Injury | Projected Return to Play
WR Xavier Worthy, Kansas City | Dislocated Shoulder | Projecting Week 4 Return
During Friday Night's Brazil game of Kansas City vs. the Los Angeles Chargers, Xavier Worthy exited early due to a shoulder injury after some friendly fire from Travis Kelce.

Per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Worthy dislocated his shoulder. He will undergo further tests to assess the severity of his injury, but there is hope that he can return with a brace.
It sounds like Worthy may have avoided significant damage to his labrum (cartilage in the shoulder joint), and the Chiefs are optimistic he will miss minimal time. Even with a few extra days of rest, Week 2 seems like a long shot for Worthy's return date. Week 3 is possible, but I have projected him to return in Week 4 (best case scenerio). Should Worthy or the team elect for surgery, then Worthy's season would most likely be over. For now the plan appears to be accessing on how Worthy progresses the next few weeks.
TE Brock Bowers, Las Vegas | Knee | Projecting Week 2 Return
Brock Bowers' fantasy managers collectively held their breath as the sophomore TE exited early with a knee injury. By video, there was no clear evidence that Bowers sustained a major injury, and he confirmed this during a post-game interview.
Just talked to #Raiders TE Brock Bowers and he says he's fine. Took a little hit on the knee, came out to get checked out. No concerns moving forward.

It sounds like Bowers' knee should be fine. I would expect him to be active next week when the Raiders host the Chargers.
