Week 12 Results

Cleveland (at Las Vegas) - 10 sacks, 1 fumble recovery

Hope you are enjoying Myles Garrett's latest run of 13 sacks in the last four games. His teammates joined him in the feeding frenzy around Geno Smith.

A Look Ahead: SF TEN @CHI - Week 13 isn't a great matchup, but you might want to hold the Browns for Week against Cam Ward.

Jacksonville (at Arizona) - 6 sacks

Jacoby Brissett was very good in Week 12 despite the Jaguars bringing a lot of pressure and getting home six times.

A Look Ahead: @TEN IND NYJ - You wanted more in Week 12, but you still get to play the Jaguars again in Week 13 and potentially longer.

San Francisco (vs Carolina) - 1 sack, 2 INT

This one could have been a lot better if Brock Purdy hadn't thrown three first-half interceptions to keep the game close longer than it should have been.

A Look Ahead: @CLE BYE TEN - We'll still consider San Francisco on what is forecast to be a windy, cold, snowy day in Cleveland.

Buffalo (at Houston) - 1 ST TD

Ray Davis broke a kickoff return for a touchdown, or this would have been a nada, zilch, bupkis from the Bills D/ST against Davis Mills.

A Look Ahead: @PIT CIN @NE - We won't consider the Bills again until Week 16 at Cleveland.

New Orleans (vs Atlanta) - 3 sacks, 1 INT, 1 DEF TD

Justin Reid hasn't exactly brought back memories of Tyrann Mathieu since the Saints signed him, but his 49-yard interception return for a score on a ball that was deflected away from Kyle Pitts Sr. was the kind of play the Honey Badger made with regularity. The Saints' offense was terrible against the Falcons, or this could have been even better.

A Look Ahead: @MIA @TB CAR - We won't come back to the Saints until Week 16 against Tennessee, and only if they are competitive between now and then.

Green Bay (vs Minnesota) - 5 sacks, 1 fumble recovery, 2 INT, 6 pts allowed

All you had to see to know how this one turned out was the Green Bay defense doing the Skol clap in the end zone after a J.J. McCarthy interception. McCarthy is in concussion protocol, so we might not have him to pick on with our D/ST play in Week 13.

A Look Ahead: @DET CHI @DEN - Green Bay smothered the Lions in Week 1, although this game is in Detroit on a short week of rest. The Packers defense is coming on and potentially worth holding if they hit for you in Week 12.

Shoulda, Coulda, Woulda

Arizona (vs Jacksonville) - 3 sacks, 1 fumble recovery, 3 INT, 1 DEF TD

First round pick Walter Nolen III scored a big man touchdown when he recovered the ball after Jalen Thompson separated it from Trevor Lawrence on a first-quarter sack. Lawrence also got picked three times, but still found a way to win.

Los Angeles Rams (vs Tampa Bay) - 4 sacks, 2 INT, 1 DEF TD, 7 pts allowed

Cobie Durant ripped the ball away from Cade Otton and took it the other way for six to make the Rams D/ST a Week 12 hit.

Atlanta (at New Orleans) - 5 sacks, 1 fumble recovery, 1 INT, 3 offensive points allowed

The Falcons' defense played with pride against a bitter rival in a lost season, making Tyler Shough look like a rookie who took seven years to finish college.

Pittsburgh (at Chicago) - 4 sacks, 2 fumble recoveries, 1 DEF TD

Caleb Williams forgot he was in his own end zone and tried to fight off a T.J. Watt sack, only to lose the ball and watch Nick Herbig recover it for a touchdown, but otherwise did not make any big mistakes in yet another tight win.
