Staffers with Good Vibes

  • Craig Lakins: There's plenty of optimism around second-year quarterback Drake Maye and the positive momentum Mike Vrabel can bring.
  • Jeff Blaylock: New head coach Mike Vrabel offers optimism through his culture reset.
  • David Zacharias: Coach Vrabel inspires, Drake Maye develops, and the Patriots have the league's softest schedule.
  • Hutchinson Brown: This team has a lot to work on, but new head coach Mike Vrabel is an inspiring hire, while Drake Maye is looking to take a year two leap.
  • Tripp Brebner: The franchise seemed to acknowledge that Jerrod Mayo wasn't up to the task and replaced him with a respected coach in Mike Vrabel, who's taken a team to a conference championship game.

Staffers with Neutral Vibes

  • Jason Wood: The Patriots are moving in a new direction, and no doubt, fans are hopeful. But objectively, the team has much to prove, and until we see how the roster and coaching revamp go, a measured approach is best.
  • Kyle Bellefeuil: Drake Maye and a new coaching staff bring rightful optimism, but expectations should still be tempered.
  • Jeff Haseley: On the rise but not there yet. There is potential brewing in New England, and management has done well to bring in talent.
  • Maurile Tremblay: A sturdier O-line and Year-2 Drake Maye raise the floor, but the pass-catcher group still lacks a proven difference-maker.
  • Ben Cummins: The offense won't be at the bottom of the league this season thanks to Drake Maye, Josh McDaniels, and added offensive weapons.
  • Phil Alexander: Mike Vrabel can change a team's culture overnight, but there's not much to get excited about in fantasy.
  • Meng Song: Mike Vrabel was a great hire, but expect some gritty, low-scoring games like we saw in Tennessee, which isn't conducive to fantasy excitement.
  • Tipp Major: It may take some time during the season to implement the new coaches' strategies, but there is reason for optimism as we head into the season. Next year presents a great opportunity to compete for a division title.
  • Andy Hicks: Vrabel lifts this team from mediocrity. Better than that won't happen in 2025.

Staffers with Bad Vibes
