Every week, I gaze into my crystal football to find deep-league and dynasty waiver darlings who could emerge in the coming weeks, so you can acquire them now for practically nothing. I'm looking for players with a plausible path toward playing time for at least a few weeks, but not necessarily this season. I'm only looking for players who are rostered in fewer than one-third of Sleeper dynasty leagues because players above that threshold are typically already gone in deeper leagues.

Even the deepest rosters don't have unlimited bench space. Look ahead for holes as injuries mount and bye weeks take healthy players out of your lineup as you decide whether to take a flier on these potential dynasty stashes.

TE Josh Cuevas, Baltimore (5% Rostered)

The Ravens drafted Cuevas in the fifth round of this year's NFL Draft, one round after selecting Matt Hibner. Baltimore has selected a pair of tight ends in the same NFL Draft five times since 2010. Of the first four pairs, the second tight end selected has played more games as a Raven and has scored more fantasy points. Will history repeat itself?

Throughout training camp, Hibner appeared to have the edge over Cuevas to be the team's third active tight end on game days. Both rookies made the initial 53-man roster along with veterans Mark Andrews and Durham Smythe.  Through the first three weeks of the season, Andrews played 65 percent of offensive snaps, while Smythe played 57 percent. Hibner was on the field 39 percent of the time, and Cuevas saw limited action on 14 percent of offensive snaps. Smythe tore his Achilles tendon in Week 4 and is out for the season; the team promoted Nick Vannett from the practice squad to fill his roster spot. Hibner injured his hand in Week 5 and missed Sunday's game against the Browns. Cuevas played a season-high 23 snaps and 40 percent snap share. Cuevas was targeted five times, catching four for 44 yards and his first career touchdown. Andrews caught one pass for four yards on three targets, and Tyler Huntley didn't target the other tight ends.

One game is a small sample size. However, offensive coordinator Declan Doyle found creative uses for Cuevas, suggesting he envisions a longer-term productive role for the rookie. Cuevas lined up as an eligible guard before catching a 29-yard pass, and he caught the team's lone touchdown pass on a fourth-and-goal play.

Cuevas spent the last two seasons at Alabama, where he caught 53 receptions for 629 yards and five touchdowns. He played just over half his snaps there in an inline position and was frequently deployed across the offensive formation. Versatility is a skeleton key for usage in Doyle's offense. Our Matt Waldman ranked Cuevas TE7 in this year's rookie class, 10 spots ahead of Hibner, and projected Cuevas as a team's TE2 who could contribute as a receiver in multi-TE sets. Baltimore has used two or more tight ends on more than half of its offensive snaps so far this season.

The Ravens previously extended Andrews, 30, through 2027 with a club option for 2028, but Smythe is on a one-year contract, and Vannett, a 10-year veteran, didn't make the initial 53-man roster. It's not inconceivable that Cuevas and Hibner will be the Ravens' top two tight ends by 2028, with Hibner more in a blocking role and Cuevas in a receiving role. Cuevas is best viewed as a longer-term development project with the ceiling of the next Mark Andrews.

WR Andrew Armstrong, Kansas City (0% Rostered)
