Welcome to Week 7 of the IDP Dynasty Sleepers! This article highlights a handful of linebackers, defensive linemen, and defensive backs who might be available in your dynasty leagues. I sample my own 12-, 14-, and 16-team leagues to get a cross-section of players who could be free agents in your leagues. Let's take a look at this week's suggestions.
Dynasty Sleeper Defensive Backs
Calen Bullock, Houston
Bullock is a tough nut to crack; he gets almost all of the defensive snaps, but sometimes completely disappears fantasy-wise. In the right matchup, he's an absolute shoo-in for double-digit fantasy points. The trick is to find those matchups. He does fill the box score well, with a good number of tackles and pass breakups already this season. He's worthy of being a bye week filler in most formats.
Kyler Gordon, Chicago
Probably gone in leagues that start cornerbacks, but even if you're in a league that mixes the defensive backs, Gordon is worth an add. He was activated from the PUP list this past week and exploded for three sacks and two forced fumbles against the Falcons. Now, as a cornerback, those stats are certainly not reliable, but it shows that he can do more than just tackle and make pass breakups. Oh, and Gordon put those stats up in just 17 snaps. Once he's shaken off all the rust, he will be a regular for the Bear defense and could put up some nice numbers
Will Lee III, Carolina
Talk about a pass breakup specialist! Lee has seven of them in only five games. The "rookie corner rule" is definitely in effect here with opposing offenses needing to throw the ball to keep up with the suddenly impactful Panther offense. Look for Lee to continue his pass-deflecting ways with great matchups here in the middle part of the season.
