The last two weeks have been a nightmare for the strength of the 2027 class. It still rules, but since Version 3, Dante Moore and Ahmad Hardy still haven't returned to play; Nick Frazier played through injured ribs and looked like someone playing with injured ribs, and Texas football has decided to fall apart. Morale is high!

Some of the moves on these rankings will appear drastic, but it's really splitting hairs among some of these players. Through the halfway point of the season, I have seven wide receivers who wouldn't surprise me if they went in the first round, six running backs with day-two grades or better, four tight ends in the same boat, and six quarterbacks duking it out for first-round pedigree. With that much talent, a string of bad plays can move players multiple spots while their peers continue to ascend. With that context in mind, here's the updated big board:

Biggest Movers in the 2027 Dynasty Rookie Rankings

Arch Manning, QB, Texas: From preseason QB1 to likely to go back to school or even transfer. Life and college football come at you fast. He still has the traits to be a first-round quarterback at some point, but the boneheaded mistakes and inconsistency make him closer to a fancy Will Levis than a Trevor Lawrence right now.

CJ Carr, QB, Notre Dame: Even with a lackluster performance versus BYU, there were flashes. He moves in the pocket well, is asked to handle more at the line of scrimmage than other college quarterbacks, and the arm talent is adequate. He's not going to be Josh Allen, but there's a chance he's QB2 or QB3 in this class when all is said and done.

DJ Vonnahme, TE, Iowa: He was tacked onto the end of the last board after a very early look at him. After a deeper dive, Iowa's done it again. Vonnahme is competent as an in-line blocker, comfortable working in the slot, and that combination is the new-age tight end. His unique running gait makes him a hard player to miss, and he's in the perfect place to continue to grow his skills as a true junior.

KJ Duff, WR, Rutgers: Really, this was just a reshuffling of the order of first-round wide receivers. Duff might be the easiest player to watch and immediately know what his role will be at the next level (other than Jeremiah Smith, but there's been enough said about him already). At 6'6", 225 pounds, he's going to live on the outside. He's only played 15 receiving plays in the slot this year, but it doesn't matter; he's inevitable.

Cam Coleman, WR, Texas: When Jeff and I chatted in the preseason, I mentioned that if Arch Manning has a disappointing season, it likely means Coleman is going to disappoint as well. What I didn't expect was that Ryan Wingo would make a real push to be the WR1 on the team. Coleman has plenty of translatable traits; they just aren't translating to college production. He's somewhere on the George Pickens - Adonai Mitchell - Jermaine Burton spectrum, and I'm terrified he's too high and too low at the same time.

Julian Sayin, QB, Ohio State: Playing against Indiana, it was the perfect stage for Sayin to quiet the haters and make some NFL-level throws. Instead, his lack of arm zip and questionable decision-making resulted in Ohio State limping to a win. He's another guy who's likely going back to school if he stays on the same trajectory.
