Scouting Report
Harrison "Trey" Wallace spent four years at Penn State, developing into a key complement to Tyler Warren on the 2024 CFP semifinalist team. Wallace opted to find a more pass-heavy scheme for his final college season in an effort to boost his draft stock. It worked. He transferred into an Ole Miss offense that had sent Tre' Harris and Jordan Watkins to the NFL draft, emerging as the Rebels' leading receiver. Wallace saved his best game for the biggest moment, posting a career-high nine receptions and 156 yards against Georgia in the 2025 CFP quarterfinals.
Wallace has primarily functioned as an outside receiver, doing his best work on in-breaking routes, where he has shown courage over the middle of the field. His experience shines through in his ability to find soft spots in coverage. Wallace stepped in as Ole Miss's punt returner after minimal special teams usage early in his career, further showcasing the intentionality behind building his draft profile. Wallace was not heavily utilized in the short passing game, and slot reps often led to vertical attacks up the seam, limiting his role as a volume receiver. He is a plus athlete and expects to test well. He is best suited for a supporting role down an NFL depth chart.
Rundown
Wallace is an experienced receiver best suited to a supporting role in the intermediate and deep areas of the field. He is a strong athlete who has performed in big moments and shown a willingness to work over the middle of the field.
