Scouting Report
Jamarion "Jam" Miller graduated from Tyler Legacy High School in Tyler, Texas, where he is their all-time leading rusher and scorer. He was a four-star recruit with plenty of Power Five interest. He chose Alabama and spent all four years of college there. His first two seasons were primarily developmental as he was held to modest usage and production. In 2024 and 2025, during his junior and senior seasons, he took over as the team's lead rusher.
Miller is a powerful runner, weighing over 220 pounds on his 5-10 frame. His first-step burst allows him to get downhill decisively and punish defenders. While his long speed isn't elite, his acceleration helps him generate occasional big gains. He sometimes gets himself into trouble trying to bounce runs outside, where his lack of speed is exposed. For a big back, Miller is serviceable as a receiver and a willing blocker, giving him three-down upside. Despite a lead role in a potent Alabama offense, his production fell short of expectations. Miller has the size and traits of a lead back in the NFL, but he'll need a strong combine performance to move above Day 3 consideration.
Rundown
Miller is a physical SEC-tested runner, but lackluster production and efficiency make his NFL projection more role-dependent than impact-driven.
