Scouting Report

Vinny Anthony II has been an all-around weapon for a Wisconsin offense that has struggled over the last couple of seasons. In 2025, he showcased that versatility by becoming the only player to rush, return a kick, and catch a touchdown in the same game, a feat accomplished by fewer than 50 players in NCAA history. Anthony led the Badgers in receiving yards in 2024 and receptions in 2025 while serving as the primary returner. His versatility earned him an opportunity at the Senior Bowl, where teams are honing in on his return ability. Anthony has a close relationship with former Badger and current Titan Chimere Dike, and hopes to follow a similar path. Fun fact: The draft also includes a pass rusher from Duke named Vinny Anthony II Jr.

Early in his career, Anthony was primarily used as an outside deep threat, with schemed run-after-the-catch opportunities or gadget usage out of the backfield. In 2025, Wisconsin worked to integrate him more into a feature receiver role, though he maintained his gadget opportunities. He possesses elite speed and should threaten one of the fastest 40 times at the Combine. Anthony will need to lean on special teams to earn his spot on an NFL roster, and leagues that include return scoring should pay closer attention.

Rundown

Anthony is one of the fastest receivers in the draft. His biggest impact came on the return game, as a deep-field stretcher, and in schemed run-game opportunities. He is lower on the offensive radar, and his chance to earn a roster spot will be on special teams.
