Week 6 was the lowest fantasy total of the season. Key offenses in Cincinnati, Detroit, and whoever is playing the Detroit defense missed the week. Passing volume was still plenty. Through Week 6 of 2025, the NFL had 24 300-yard passing games. The season saw 68 total. In 2026, we have 30. Jared Goff and Dak Prescott led the league with six each, and Jacoby Brissett, Bo Nix, and Matthew Stafford had four. Stafford is at four already in 2026, with C.J. Stroud and Jordan Love at three. Stroud and Love combined for three total in 2025.

The Target Report
I view target trees as "clean" or "dirty." Clean trees distill targets to their top options and give standout fantasy performances. Dirty trees are, well, a mess and rely on unpredictable possibilities. The chart below categorizes these offenses.
Offenses with Top 2 Options > 60% Target Share
These passing attacks center on two key players. Shared targets can make it hard for the rest of the receiving corps to get meaningful production. A third option remains, but the targets should be highly concentrated or overwhelming in sheer volume.

Despite playing short-handed, the Eagles played close enough to allow Carolina to keep their passing attack rolling. Coker returned after missing Week 4 and looks like the WR1 over McMillan. Bryce Young is hyper-targeting his top two options, and both are must-starts, though Tampa Bay has a strong defense.
-
The Giants' passing attack has exploded over the last three weeks. Nabers has averaged 9.67 receptions, 133 receiving yards, and 1 touchdown, while Likely is at 8 catches, 86.33 yards, and 1 touchdown. Combined, that is a 17-game pace of 300 receptions, 3,723 yards, and 42.5 touchdowns. J.J. McCarthy will take over at quarterback; late in Week 6, he showed he could keep the production going. The Giants face the Texans, who have not lived up to their 2025 defensive reputation.

Bernard deserves all the attention from the fantasy community after stacking strong games. Metcalf's big game has flown under the radar. He has 90+ yards or a touchdown in three of the last four. Both Michael Pittman Jr. and Roman Wilson are on IR, thinning the receiver group and pushing volume to Bernard and Metcalf. Both are Week 7 plays against a New Orleans defense that ranks in the Bottom 10.
-
Brown returned and saw heavy volume, though he was obviously rusty with multiple drops. Romeo Doubs left with an injury and landed on IR following the game. Douglas is fantasy WR6 over the last two weeks, with three touchdowns in that stretch. Efton Chism III and Kyle Williams made plays while Brown was out. Brown will command much more gravity than Doubs, opening the opportunities for the other targets. The Bears have the 7th-best pass defense, though we should expect a shootout.
-
Evans is dealing with Achilles tendinitis; he left before halftime and did not return. The 49ers offense rolled with Evans in the first half but stalled in the second half after they were down to just McCaffrey and Kittle. Watch Evans closely; we know McCaffrey and Kittle are in our lineups against an average Atlanta defense, but without Evans or Deebo Samuel Sr., the ceiling will be lowered. If desperate, Jordan Watkins seems the best dart throw.
-
Egbuka hasn't lived up to his preseason ADP, but he's been a solid contributor at WR24. Godwin is seeing targets but hasn't topped 46 receiving yards. The Buccaneers are waiting until later in the week to decide whether Baker Mayfield will start Week 7 against Carolina, though he's been practicing in full. Tampa Bay needs a win. A win keeps them one back from Carolina and two losses in the NFC South. A loss eliminates any hope left.

Tate drew Derek Stingley Jr.'s attention in Week 5, a matchup he will need to develop to handle. Without that game, he is on a 119-catch-for-1,547-yard pace from Weeks 3 through 6. Tate faces another tough matchup in Week 7, matching up against fellow Buckeye Denzel Ward and a Cleveland pass defense ranked 11th.
