FanDuel: Week 16 Spotlight

Footballguys Staff's FanDuel: Week 16 Spotlight Footballguys Staff Published 12/22/2015

No matter how your fantasy football leagues have gone this year, each week is a new season on FanDuel and this weekly spotlight is the place to go to find out what's happening each week.

Sunday Contests

The Sunday contests include FanDuel's largest tournaments. These begin at 1pm ET on Sunday and include all of the Sunday NFL games plus the Monday night games.

Sunday Million

FanDuel's largest contest of the week is their Sunday Million. It's just $25 to enter and awards $1,750,000 with $175,000 to first place! All you need to do is finish among the top-14,530 to win cash. Play now!

Sunday Rush

While the Sunday Million may be the biggest contest, it's possible that the Sunday Rush is the best, which stands strong at $1.2 Million in total prizes. The best part is that it's only $5 to enter and you'd have a shot at the $100,000 first place prize. And all you need to do is finish among the top-53,100 entries to win cash. This contest has been known to fill early, so be sure to enter sooner than later. Play now!

Sunday Squib

The Sunday Squib is a single-entry tournament that’s just $1 to play and offers $100,000 in prizes with $10,000 to first place. Someone will turn $1 into $10,000 with just one entry. Why not you? Play now!

Thursday Contests

While Thursday contests normally have a smaller prize pool than the Sunday contests, they're still no slouch (as you'll find out below) and they include ALL of the NFL games each week. For insight into strategy that's specific to Thursday contests, check out this article by Footballguys' own Phil Alexander.

Thu NFL Bomb

If you enjoy the Sunday Million, the Thu NFL Bomb is its little sister. It's just $25 to play and there's now $100,000 in total prizes. First place will take home a $10,000 of those total prizes, which leaves plenty more cash for the other entries that crack the top-900. Play now!

Thu NFL Rush

With an even bigger prize pool than the Thu NFL Bomb is the Thu NFL Rush, which measures in at $140,000 in total prizes. At just $5 to play, it's certainly worth a look (or maybe two). And the top-5,984 will win cash with $15,000 to first place. Play now!

Other Contest Slates

FanDuel also offers a handful of other slates that include different groups of NFL games. Those include Sunday Early Only, Sunday Afternoon. Sunday Afternoon Only, and even a Primetime slate. You can sift through the different slates by using the slate filter above the lobby on the desktop site and in the drop-down menu on the mobile apps.

College Football Contests

College football is on a short break, but it'll be back in full force for bowl season. Stay tuned for those contests!
