Coker faces a crucial year. He has showed the promise to be a fantasy receiver but expectations as a starter in Carolina will be real. Could rise rapidly or fade away in dynasty markets. I would be investing.

Tommy Tremble could have 'pretty busy and productive outing' with Coker unlikely to play
Panthers TE Tommy Tremble "could have a pretty busy and productive outing" Sunday night against the Lions, as bootlegs to Carolina's tight ends "have been working really well" over the past three weeks, particularly with Tremble. TE Darren Waller "could help fill the void, too." WR Jalen Coker, listed as questionable with a quad injury, is unlikely to play, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported.
Jalen Coker (quad) 'unlikely to play' Sunday night vs. Lions
Panthers WR Jalen Coker, listed as questionable for Sunday night's game against the Lions with a quad injury, is unlikely to play. Coker is a starter in Carolina's receiver group. WR Xavier Legette was previously ruled out for the game.
Ja'Seem Reed elevation suggests Jalen Coker (quad) will sit vs. Lions
The Panthers' elevation of WR Ja'Seem Reed for Sunday night's Week 4 game against the Lions suggests WR Jalen Coker (quad) will be out, based on what head coach Dave Canales said on Friday. Coker is listed as questionable, and WR Xavier Legette has already been ruled out. If Coker cannot play, Carolina's active receivers will be WRs Tetairoa McMillan, John Metchie III, Brycen Tremayne, David Moore and Reed.
Ja'Seem Reed would be called up if Jalen Coker can't go Sunday night
Panthers head coach Dave Canales said on Friday that if WR Jalen Coker is unable to play Sunday night against the Lions, WR Ja'Seem Reed would be called up to help replace him. Coker, who is dealing with a quad injury, is questionable and did not take part in individual drills at Friday's practice.
