He is quickly making a name for himself. Don't be surprised if the Giants have a short leash on Russell Wilson.
Phil Alexander
He should take over by midseason and has a profile to get excited about for fantasy. Dart is aggressive throwing downfield, gets extra points with his legs, and the game hasn't looked too fast for him in the preseason.
Matt Waldman
Dart is a skilled short-range passer who has difficulty with accuracy beyond 25 yards and his pocket management is wonkier than advertised. He has a good preseason and will be touted to take over Russell Wilson's job early in the year.
I'm not counting on it, but if Brian Daboll wants absolute obedience to his system, Wilson will be out in the cold sooner than later. If he wants competitive football, Wilson may still be the best option.
Ben Cummins
A good prospect with athleticism and a strong arm. Will need to adjust to the NFL, but anticipation throws, good footwork, and pocket management on his college film show he can do it. Projects to start the second half of the season after the losses pile up and Russell Wilson is benched. Spike weeks are possible.

I fear he gets rushed into the starting role if Russell Wilson struggles out of the gate. A fairly impressive preseason performance only increases pressure to start Dart ahead of schedule.

Try not to get too carried away by the preseason, but it was a promising start for my favorite rookie quarterback. He'll sit to start the season, but sooner or later, he'll get his shot.
