A crucial year for Daniels. After a big rookie season, last year was marred by injury. Hopefully he doesn't follow the RGIII path and can establish himself as the team leader and fantasy superstar Washington need.

Daniel's dynasty's future is a wildcard. While he is an elite dual-threat quarterback who is the engine of the Commanders' offense, his running style and lack of size carry inherent risks. I can see someone wanting to cash in on his current dynasty value while targeting a safer, more durable, traditional pocket passer while keeping top-end production.

Daniels throws for 199 yards in ltie with Giants
Washington Commanders QB Jayden Daniels completed 17 of 25 passes for 199 yards and ran 9 times for 103 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 27-27 tie with the New York Giants. He was projected for 18.2 fantasy points (half-PPR) and finished with 30.3.
Hartman not signed to 53, Kaliakmanis backs up Daniels with McCaffrey as emergency QB
The Commanders did not sign QB Sam Hartman to the 53-man roster, leaving QB Jayden Daniels and rookie QB Athan Kaliakmanis as the only quarterbacks for Sunday's game against the Giants. WR Luke McCaffrey is "next up if all goes wrong." TE Colson Yankoff filled the emergency quarterback role last week against the Colts with McCaffrey inactive.
Jayden Daniels to wear 'much larger brace' on left elbow, offense to adjust
Commanders QB Jayden Daniels will wear a much larger brace on his left elbow on Sunday than the one he wore last year. Daniels has had several practices to get comfortable with it, and the Commanders feel it greatly decreases the chances of the elbow being re-injured. Some things will be done differently offensively because of the elbow.
Jayden Daniels returns with 'a full game plan' vs. Giants, must protect himself
Commanders QB Jayden Daniels returns on Sunday against the Giants with a full game plan. Daniels has to protect himself, which was the plan coming into the season anyway, and it is "of the utmost importance now." Daniels is returning from an elbow injury and will wear a brace.
