Jayden Reed looking to reduce drops
Green Bay Packers WR Jayden Reed said he has been working with the JUGS machine every day this offseason in hopes of reducing his dropped passes this upcoming season, according to The Athletic's Matt Schneidman.
Jayden Reed unbothered by WR draft picks
Green Bay Packers WR Jayden Reed indicated that his agent's meeting with the Packers following the NFL Draft was 'misinterpreted,' and that it was simply to get his new representation on the 'same page' with the Packers' front office. He also noted that the meeting was planned prior to the draft, and it was not in response to the selections of WRs Matthew Golden and Savion Williams.
GB still confident in Jayden Reed
Green Bay Packers WR Jayden Reed's agent met with general manager Brian Gutekunst after the team selected two receivers during the 2025 NFL Draft, and Gutekunst said Reed will continue to be a top receiver for the Packers, according to a source.

"Golden's arrival lowers Reed's ceiling"

Matt Waldman
"
Reed has been the team's most productive receiver for the past two years, but his archetype is more akin to a strong 1-B to a classic 1-A like Nico Collins. In a Packers offense that has had 3-4 startable options at receiver, Reed hasn't needed to be the classic primary option.
Matthew Golden isn't that classic WR1, either. Savion Williams looks like one, and he might develop into one. There's also a chance he could wind up a starting running back one day.
As long as the Packers have multiple strong receiver options, it won't matter. They do this year and the margins between the top 2-3 receivers should remain close. Even so, Reed should lead the receivers in rushing, receptions, yards, and likely, TDs.

"
Jayden Reed is a very good player paired with Jordan Love in a Matt LaFleur-led offense. While his snap percentages leave a bit to be desired and limit his season-long ceiling somewhat, his weekly ceiling remains very high. That's fun in best ball. LaFleur utilizes Reed lined up in the backfield, on handoffs, pop passes, in motion, etc. He's an important chess piece who will continue to play a big role in 2025.
