Harrison has been disappointing to date and faces a crucial third year. Michael Wilson already threatens his role as lead receiver and has proven himself to a level that Harrison hasn't. A new coaching regime will be under pressure to get the best of Harrison before he faces the bust term.

While a string of foot and heel injuries derailed his sophomore season, Harrison remains a breakout candidate as he enters Year 3 fully healthy. With Mike LaFleur now running the Arizona offense, expect Harrison to be moved around the formation to maximize his elite target profile.

Harrison's ADP has fallen from the second round as a rookie to the 5th-6th round entering Year 3. His current price is worth paying for a player with his talent, especially on a team likely to produce garbage-time passing stats.

I shared concerns about Harrison's attack of the football while he was earning "the next generational talent" buzz at Ohio State. Unfortunately, Harrison's issues became magnified in the pros, which is typically the case for prospects. 

Harrison excels with his back to the ball. When facing it and attacking, he doesn't track with the optimal position and fights the ball. 

This led to drops. The drops led to Kyler Murray eschewing Harrison as his first read and going immediately to Trey McBride, who confirmed this during the 2026 offseason. 

This year, Harrison will move to the Davante Adams role in this new Cardinals offense and Michael Wilson, will play the Puka Nacua role.

Wilson is the more complete receiver at this time as a route-runner and pass-catcher: Think Michael Thomas, Jr. to Harrison's Mike Williams with a case of drops. 

Remain cautious with Harrison but valuing him as a WR3 with upside is appropriate.
