Michael Penix Jr. confirmed as Falcons starter for Week 3 vs. Packers
The Athletic reports that Falcons QB Michael Penix Jr. will start for Atlanta against the Packers on Thursday night in Week 3. The start will be the 13th of Penix Jr.'s career, in which he holds a 4-8 record since Atlanta selected him eighth overall in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Chris Cwik of Yahoo Sports reports that Falcons QB Michael Penix Jr. has been named the team's starting quarterback for Thursday night's Week 3 game against the Packers. Penix Jr. will take over the starting job from Falcons QB Cooper Rush, who had been filling in as the starter.
