Goedert was the obsession of Kevin Patullo's moribund scheme -- an unimaginative offense that turned a dream team of skill players into a mediocre lot. It's an impressive accomplishment when considering how hard that should be to do.
Rookie Eli Stowers is an impressive receiver who will working as Goedert's understudy. His blocking needs work, but he can contribute immediately in the passing game, especially as a detached option.
The potential influx of two rookies into the offense -- Stowers and Makai Lemon -- and rolling with Sean McVay disciple Sean Mannion as the offensive coordinator generates volatility within Godert's fantasy profile.
It might be best to consider an upside pick with a starting role at the position if you take Goedert this year.

Goedert is coming off a career-high PPR season, finishing as the fantasy TE7, but he scored 11 touchdowns in 15 games, an unsustainable pace.
