Moore may just be another name on the pile of fantasy receivers who haven't lived up to expectations in Buffalo. Moore was passed over by Burden and Odunze in Chicago and being a fantasy #1 here is a stretch.

Moore landed in a fantastic spot after moving to Buffalo this offseason. He immediately steps in as the top target on the outside for Josh Allen. That means a healthy jump in overall targets and touchdown upside in one of the most explosive offenses in football.

The industry seems to think he's cooked after two down seasons in Chicago, but a rookie quarterback and dysfunctional offense derailed his 2024 season, while the Bears' new coaching staff built around different personnel in 2025. Now paired with Josh Allen as Buffalo's clear No. 1 receiver, he has a realistic path to 2025 Zay Flowers production (86-1,211-5) or better.
Matt Waldman
Moore and Josh Allen have the skills to generate 1,200-1,400 yards and double-digit touchdowns, but that dynamic isn't the intent of Joe Brady's offense in Buffalo. It's wiser to expect Allen to continue distributing the ball without leaning too hard on one specific talent.
Moore likely leads the receiving corps in targets, yardage, and TDs. Still, expect not much separation among Moore, Khalil Shakir, and Dalton Kincaid's production -- especially yardage and TDs.
If injuries strike the corps, that could change the dynamic in Moore's favor.

If DJ Moore inherits the Stefon Diggs role, then 120 targets is the floor, and he may deliver mid- to high-end WR2 production for the next couple of years, his age-29 and age-30 seasons. Don't forget that he posted back-to-back 1,100-yard receiving seasons when Joe Brady was OC in Carolina. Moore is a potential championship piece for contenders to acquire. All other dynasty managers should be moving him given his age.

Two Buffalo receivers banged up on Saturday
Buffalo Bills WRs DJ Moore (ankle) and Keon Coleman (lower body) were both tended to on the sideline, according to a source on Saturday, Aug. 15. Trainers attended to Moore's ankle area after the second drive, but he stood on sidelines for the rest of the game. Coleman was tackled on third offensive drive after his last catch favored the lower body.

Buffalo Bills WR DJ Moore said he still dealing with some 'growing pains' as he adjusts to the Buffalo offense, but he expects to be in 'great shape' as the offseason progresses. 'I mean, it's gonna be perfect later on,' Moore said.
