Week 21 Plays

Joe Burrow Under 277.5 Passing Yards

For the Bengals, this seems like a prime opportunity for Joe Burrow and the Bengals passing game to get back to the Super Bowl for the second straight season. Burrow in Week 14 looked great completing 25 of his 31 passes for 286 yards, as the Bengals came back to win against the Chiefs. However, there are some conditions this week that could make this a lower output game from Burrow than anticipated. First, the injury to Patrick Mahomes II has to factor in here as if he is limited, the overall scoring output of the game is negatively impacted. Secondly, will the Bengals fall behind and be forced to throw again? 19 of Burrow’s 31 passes in their first meeting were after the Bengals were trailing as they started out the game with a run-heavy style that was working as Samaje Perine had over 100-yards.
