Buy Low

Parker Washington (WR-JAX) - Washington will be cheap on the waiver wire this week and a lot of dynasty players will regret not giving him a longer look. He was one of the stars of training camp and appeared to be poised for a second-year breakout, but he was blocked by Christian Kirk. Kirk is out for the season with a collarbone injury, but before the injury, Kirk was on the trade block. That creates a big opportunity for Washington to show that he can fill Kirk's role long-term and be part of the wide receiver corps in a role that Trevor Lawrence is very comfortable throwing to.

Nick Chubb (RB-CLE) - Chubb hasn't been very efficient, but he's coming back from a catastrophic knee and just rounding into form. The Browns have been reinvigorated by Jameis Winston, who will force defenses to honor the downfield pass after Deshaun Watson couldn't push the ball downfield effectively. Winston will also create more touchdown opportunities for Chubb; it just happens that all three scores went to pass catches in Week 8. He's an ideal trade target for dynasty teams that want to only have to pay for a running back's production this year because any team out of contention with Chubb will want to cut bait and be willing to take a lower draft pick since Chubb hasn't done much since returning.

George Pickens (WR-PIT) - As Scott Barrett laid out on the couch this week, eventually, the bad penalty luck that has taken away big play after big play from George Pickens will break for him. He has had 34.3 fantasy points taken off the board by penalties or reviews. He'll also face the pass funnel Browns and Ravens defenses twice in the second half of the year, and the Washington, Philadelphia, Cincinnati, and Kansas City games could also force the Steelers to pass more, facing good quarterbacks in the toughest remaining schedule in the league. Pickens is a sleeping giant.
