Seahawks, Team Vibes

Staffers with Good Vibes
- Kyle Bellefeuil: New defensive-minded head coach Mike Macdonald should have this defense rocking. If Geno Smith continues to be solid, they should be a tough opponent each week.
- Dave Kluge: A competent quarterback, a trio of good wide receivers, and two very good running backs. What's not to feel good about?
- Justin Howe: There are gobs of talent at the skill positions, the line has improved greatly, and Geno Smith was actually a bit better in 2023 than in 2022.
- Corey Spala: The offense has a competent quarterback, three NFL starting wide receivers, two reliable running backs, and a consistent tight end. The new coaching staff will look to utilize their talents, specifically cater to their respective skill sets in ways the last coaching regime did not.
Staffers with Neutral Vibes
- Chad Parsons: The running back and wide receiver rooms lack a concentration of fantasy production for a superstar outcome. Geno Smith is solid but unspectacular as well.
- Jason Wood: The vibes are neutral because the new coaching staff will bring optimism, but we can't say everything is optimistic because the implied win total (7.5 wins) represents another step-down, and the new coaches are all in roles we've yet to see them succeed at.
- Phil Alexander: Trying to figure out how this roster changed from last year is like doing one of those spot-the-difference activities from grade school. Is DK Metcalf wearing a different earring?
- Andy Hicks: The departure of Pete Carroll makes this season, with a new coaching staff, a guessing game in Seattle. The offensive roster is similar to last year, but a new offense changes the dynamic.
- Hutchinson Brown: Overall, the Seahawks have a solid roster, but with a new head coach and question marks at quarterback along with some tough competition in the NFC West this season, they're gonna have an uphill battle to get in the playoffs.
- Jeff Haseley: Not a foregone conclusion to be a playoff team, but not a bottom-10 team, either.
- Julia Papworth: The loss of gum popping and white sneakers on the sideline non withstanding, there hasn't been much drama or change up in Seattle to warrant any strong feelings heading into the season.
- Ryan Weisse: With an entirely new offensive scheme in 2024 and Geno Smith at the helm, this isn't the easiest offense to get excited about for fantasy managers.
- Bob Harris: I don't want to understate the arrival of offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb; he shouldn't be ignored. Grubb is highly touted, but Geno Smith must rebound and return to something closer to 2022 form for the team to be successful.
- Ben Cummins: Seattle has weapons, but they need Geno Smith or Sam Howell to take a step forward this season.
