Welcome to the Dynasty Trading Post, where we examine optimizing strategy, roster construction, format, and player value oscillations every week, providing examples and completed dynasty trades.

This week, we'll focus on recent wide receiver injuries and how to adjust as a contending or non-contending roster.

*All trades are Superflex unless stated otherwise*

WR Malik Nabers, NY Giants

Theme of the Week: Core Player Acquisition

Malik Nabers was an elite dynasty wide receiver asset before this injury, creating a unique in-season opportunity for both the buy and sell markets of contending and non-contending rosters. A 3-1 or 4-0 team with Nabers will likely be looking to transition to a healthy and productive receiver, while a 1-3 or 0-4 team will gravitate towards adding Nabers and continuing to align their roster for a competitive 2026 season. This dynasty trading melting pot is the most communal in-season aspect of the marketplace - swapping injured players and/or draft capital for current year production.

Here are a few key trades involving Malik Nabers this week:

The key to buying Malik Nabers this week as a non-contender is using multiple pieces and offering solutions. Typically, a wide receiver will be involved to aid the team in solving their wide receiver issue entering bye weeks. The trickier part is how to sell Nabers to a contender. Do not just give them a straight-up transition to Justin Jefferson, Puka Nacua, or another elite dynasty wide receiver. Make them pay for the access to a healthy option instead of Nabers in-season. Ask for a future 1st on top.

WR Tyreek Hill, Miami

Theme of the Week: Patience Quotient
