IDP Dynasty Sleepers: Week 12

Welcome to another season of Dynasty IDP Sleepers! The purpose of this article is to highlight a handful of linebackers, defensive linemen, and defensive backs that might be available in your dynasty leagues. I sample my own 12-, 14-, and 16-team leagues to get a cross-section of players who could be free agents in your leagues. Let's take a look at this week's suggestions!

Dynasty Sleeper Linebackers

Claudin Cherelus, Carolina

Cherelus has been around for a few years now as a backup linebacker for the Panthers, and got a chance to start this past weekend. He was around the ball a lot, logging eight assisted tackles, a pair of solos, and a pass breakup. Trevin Wallace is nursing a shoulder injury, so it stands to reason that Cherelus could see another couple of starts here in the second half of the season. Either way, he's one to watch as there are tackles to go around on the Panther D.

Elijah Ponder, New England

For those of you in leagues that are more big-play-oriented, Ponder is worth a look. He's got sacks in each of the past two contests and seems to chip in with some tackles even with a lower snap share. He's more of an Edge, standing at 6'3" and 261 pounds, but the undrafted rookie out of Cal Poly has been pretty impressive in limited action and could be a nice taxi squad stash for those in larger, big-play formats.

Curtis Robinson, San Francisco

Tatum Bethune appears to be on the shelf for at least a couple of weeks with an ankle injury, so Robinson should be next in line at the middle linebacker spot for the Niners. We all know how productive Niner linebackers can be in fantasy circles, so Robinson should be a hot add for the rest of the season as Bethune heals up. Robinson finished with 12 total tackles (five solo) after Bethune went out last week. Robinson should see a ton of tackle opportunities the next few weeks.
