Buckle up, fantasy football fanatics! Week 1 of the NFL season is in the books, and it's left us with more twists than a soap opera and fewer answers than a rookie QB's playbook! This is the week where we separate the pretenders from the contenders, the fool's gold from the cold, hard cash. We're diving back into the IDP Stock Market for 2025 with the format you know and love: five players I'm all-in on, four slipping down my rankings faster than a fumbled snap, and three skyrocketing up the board like a game-winning Hail Mary. Let's kick this off. Here we go!

The Fortune 5

LB Foyesade Oluokun, Jacksonville

In the offseason, I highlighted Foyesade Oluokun as my top candidate to reclaim the No. 1 IDP spot, and Week 1 showed why. He delivered a stellar performance, notching 10 total tackles, a forced fumble, and an interception, reminiscent of his dominant run as the league's premier IDP. While injuries are always a concern, Oluokun's proven track record and Week 1 production make him a steal if available after the first pick. His commanding presence on the field positions him as a cornerstone for IDP rosters, and I'm confident in his ability to lead the pack throughout the 2025 season. With his versatility and knack for big plays, Oluokun is poised to anchor fantasy defenses.

Edge Nick Bosa, San Francisco

Let me take a moment to eat some humble pie for those tiring of my usual critiques. Each week, it seems I'm calling out a big-name pass rusher for falling short of expectations, and Nick Bosa's name often tops that list. But in Week 1, he was everything we hoped for, delivering six tackles, three for loss, a sack, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery. While we can't bank on that explosive sack-fumble combo every game, those six tackles establish a reliable floor that keeps your IDP roster competitive. You don't draft a player like Bosa for safety, though; you take him for that sky-high ceiling, which he emphatically hit this past Sunday. His ability to dominate in multiple facets makes him a game-changer. Don't sleep on Bosa continuing to deliver those difference-making moments if he can remain healthy and on the field.

LB Bobby Okereke, NY Giants

Heading into the 2025 season, I had concerns about Bobby Okereke's short- and long-term outlook. At 29, he's not a household name, and the Giants' week-to-week unpredictability added to my doubts. But on Sunday, Okereke reminded me why he's a standout, leading the NFL with 16 tackles against the Commanders. That's hard to top, though his tackle-dependent profile has always been a concern. Still, this performance showcases his knack for finding the ball carrier, restoring my confidence in him as a reliable LB1 for IDP rosters. His tackling prowess remains a cornerstone for fantasy success. Okereke's Week 1 showing is a strong signal that he can anchor your linebacker corps consistently.

S Talanoa Hufanga, Denver

New team, who's this? Talanoa Hufanga, when healthy, channels the dynamic playmaking of Troy Polamalu, impacting games from the secondary with his versatility. In his debut with the Denver Broncos, he delivered 10 total tackles and a forced fumble. For a player likely lingering on your waiver wire, somehow, he's a must-target FAAB splash worth serious investment. As a key piece of Denver's elite defense, Hufanga provides a solid floor at the defensive back position, where consistency can be hard to find. His multi-faceted impact makes him a priority add. Act fast to secure him for your IDP roster.

Edge Myles Garrett, Cleveland

Jerry Jones once said he's never overpaid for what he truly wanted, and Cleveland Browns fans should feel the same about Myles Garrett's new contract. In Week 1, Garrett was a force against the Bengals' offensive line, racking up two sacks, five total tackles, and four tackles for loss. As arguably the NFL's premier pass rusher, he's a dream for IDP managers who can handle his boom-or-bust nature. Even without the sacks, his two TFLs and three tackles provide a floor that keeps your roster competitive. Garrett remains atop the edge rusher mountain, a dominant force worth every penny. His ability to disrupt games ensures he's a cornerstone for any IDP lineup. With his relentless motor, Garrett consistently pressures quarterbacks, elevating his value. Don't hesitate to build your IDP strategy around this elite edge rusher.
