Sleepers at Tight End
Hunter Henry, New England (at Cincinnati)
This one isn't complicated. The Bengals have given up multiple touchdowns to tight ends in four games this season. Darnell Washington tossed their defensive backs around last week like they were ragdolls. T.J. Hockenson was useful in fantasy against them. Harold Fannin Jr. looked like a potential breakout rookie TE1 against. Austin Hooper should return this week, but Henry should still get enough opportunity to hit in what could be a track meet if Joe Burrow returns.
Theo Johnson, NY Giants (at Detroit)
Johnson already had some appeal in a Giants offense that Jaxson Dart has reinvigorated as Dart's favorite red zone target. Now we can add in upside for the possibility that Dart will be running much less frequently in the red zone, which could give Johnson even more touchdown opportunities. He scored five times in six games with Dart, so there's a better chance than not that he'll get one for you this week.
Colby Parkinson, LA Rams (vs Tampa Bay)
Tyler Higbee going on injured reserve could be a consequential development in fantasy leagues. The Rams' tight end group has been producing like an elite fantasy TE1, but it's been split among four players. With Higbee out, that number falls to three, and Parkinson is the one who will almost surely lead the group in snaps and targets. Parkinson has also scored in each of the last two games.
Taysom Hill, New Orleans (vs Atlanta)
Hill's best performance as a starting quarterback came against the Falcons. He scored twice as a runner against them last season. He tends to summon up big performances against the Falcons. Kellen Moore has already revealed that Hill has taken snaps at quarterback in practice, and the bye week is the perfect time to install the Hill package and ignite the home crowd by humiliating the Falcons' defense.
