Sleepers at Quarterback

Cameron Ward, Tennessee (vs Jacksonville)

The Titans said Ward running more last week was part of the progression of his development, which bodes well for the chances of him continuing to raise his fantasy ceiling and floor with his legs. He was modestly successful as a passer last week against a tough Seattle defense. This week, he faces a Jaguars defense that has given up big games to Davis Mills and Geno Smith in the last month.

Teddy Bridgewater, Tampa Bay (vs Arizona) **Monitor Mayfield Status**

Bridgewater will likely start in Week 13, with Baker Mayfield already professing the benefits of taking a week off to heal for the stretch run, even though he would prefer not to. The team has said that they will have to change the offense for Bridgewater, who is not a bold downfield passer like Mayfield. That might not be a totally bad thing because it will keep the Cardinals' defense off balance, and Bridgewater is a seasoned professional. Brock Purdy and Trevor Lawrence have each thrown for three scores in Arizona's last two games.

Tua Tagovailoa, Miami (vs New Orleans)

Tagovailoa's two best games this season have come against the NFC South defense. He threw four touchdowns against Atlanta and three against Carolina, with no interceptions and at least 200 passing yards in each game. The Saints just made Kirk Cousins look like a functional NFL quarterback after the Miami defense dismantled him back in Week 8. Tagovailoa has a high floor and a higher ceiling than you think in this matchup.

Max Brosmer, Minnesota (at Seattle)

How much do you believe in Kevin O'Connell? Before this season, there was a lot of optimism about J.J. McCarthy in fantasy circles because of O'Connell's success not just with Sam Darnold in 2024, but even nondescript passers like Nick Mullens and Joshua Dobbs in 2023. Heck, even Carson Wentz had a bit of a fantasy renaissance with O'Connell this season. Brosmer is an undrafted rookie, but he has reportedly impressed in practice, indicating he is executing O'Connell's playbook true to form. Seattle is a very good defense, but they have allowed six of the last eight quarterbacks they have faced to notch two touchdowns.
