FL teams have recently shifted to a committee approach to defensive line deployment, which has changed how IDP managers draft. Instead of having defensive linemen on each team play a near-every-down role, teams deploy players as pass-rush/run-down specialists. This has opened the door to more IDP streaming options.
Streaming positions is key to winning leagues. It is impossible to nail down every roster position with studs. You'll always walk away with one position group feeling thin. This weekly article will cover IDP streaming matchups for the IDL and Edge positions to help you win your leagues.
IDP Streaming Option: IDL Moro Ojomo, Philadelphia Eagles
Matchup: Washington Commanders - Ranked 23rd in Matt Bitonti's Offensive Line Rankings
Ojomo was a pleasant surprise for IDP managers in 2025. In a stacked defensive line group in Philadelphia, Ojomo paced the group with the second-most sacks on the team, with six. Though Ojomo was in a reserve role behind Jordan Davis and Jalen Carter, he thrived by staying fresh. He also managed to stay on the field for 66% of the team's snaps in a reserve role.
The Eagles take on the Commanders to start the season. The Commanders unfortunately lost Laremy Tunsil for the year, and the offensive line has looked suspect at best. Jayden Daniels looks like he will be running for his life once again. Ojomo is a terrific IDP streaming option for Week 1.
IDP Streaming Option: IDL Gervon Dexter Sr, Atlanta Falcons
Matchup: Pittsburgh Steelers - Ranked 31st in Matt Bitonti's Offensive Line Rankings
Dexter has been on a steady path to being a weekly starter at the IDL position. He had a career-high six sacks in 2025 and has increased his sack total every season so far. The Falcons traded for Dexter this offseason in need of some serious pass-rushing help. General Manager Ian Cunningham knew where to look.

The Gervon Dexter Sr trade was about Dexter the rookies just made it easier.
Dexter wanted an extension. Chicago didn’t want to pay him, solid pass rusher. Not great vs the run. His 44.0 PFF run D grade ranked 107th/134 IDL.

Dexter was selected 53rd overall (2nd Round) in the 2023 NFL Draft by the Bears. Cunningham was the Bears General Manager at that time. He seems to like what he sees in Dexter, and he should instantly have a big role on the Falcons. They play the Steelers in Week 1, who have one of the worst cohesion grades, per Matt Bitonti. Cohesiveness is huge for an offensive line to be successful. Dexter is a strong IDP streaming option for Week 1.
IDP Steaming Option: Edge Austin Booker, Chicago Bears
Matchup: Carolina Panthers - Ranked 32nd in Matt Bitonti's Offensive Line Rankings
Booker has been a popular breakout candidate this season, and rightfully so. He finished the 2025 season on a tear, racking up 17 tackles and 3.5 sacks across the final four games. Booker barely left the field across that span, seeing no less than an 81.9% snap share. The Bears have made no significant additions to their edge group, leaving Booker with a huge role across from Montez Sweat.

They take on the Panthers in Week 1, who Matt Bitonti has ranked as the worst offensive line going into Week 1. Both starting offensive tackles for the Panthers will miss the start of the season. Booker should feast and is my top IDP streaming option for Week 1.
