As I watch games from Thursday through Monday Night Football, I note the things that catch my eye. From injuries to unexpected box score production, good and bad, to scheme quirks and situations that could affect a player's production in the coming weeks. By Wednesday evening, I turn these notes and the subsequent news and investigation into the Eyes of the Guru column.
On Monday mornings, I will be sharing those raw notes. There will not be a lot of analysis or in-depth description. Those things take time and will come later in the week. The goal is to give our customers an early heads-up on things that could impact your important decisions for the week, so if something in the notes is particularly important to your team, you can look into it on your own and/or wait until the EOTG comes out that week to get my take.

Guru's IDP Notes: Arizona Cardinals
- Huge day for Budda Baker 7-4-1 PD.
- Jack Gibbens 1-8 PD, Mack Wilson Sr. 4-5
- Andrew Wingard solid again 5-3
- Dante Stills quietly productive, 3-5-1 PD over first two games
Guru's IDP Notes: Atlanta Falcons
- Falcons had 21 defensive players show up on the stat sheet. The only one with decent numbers was safety Xavier Watts at 6-1 FF.
- Jessie Bates III 4-2
- What's up with the linebackers? Kendal Daniels 3-0, Divine Deablo 1-1, Yasir Abdullah 2-0, Harold Perkins Jr. 0-1
Guru's IDP Notes: Baltimore Ravens
- Kyle Hamilton busy 7-6
- The edge guys made an inpact. Trey Hendrickson looked like himself 3-0-1, and Tavius Robinson 2-0-1 were the starters. Mike Green 2-0-1,
- Trenton Simpson 5-1, Roquan Smith 2-6
Guru's IDP Notes: Buffalo Bills
- Ed Oliver came up gimpy in warmups and was a last-minute scratch. DeWayne Carter made the start. Deone Walker 0-1 3 batted passes, was a much bigger factor than the numbers tell.
- Greg Rousseau stays hot 3-0-2 FF, Bradley Chubb shows up 2-2-1.5
- C.J. Gardner-Johnson 1-0. Injured? Jordan Hancock 3-2,
Guru's IDP Notes: Carolina Panthers
- Panthers opened in a 5-1-5 with Devin Lloyd 7-2-1 2 int, TD 3PD as the lone linebacker. Bobby Okereke was no slouch 6-3 int.
- Safeties Nick Scott 1-1, Tre'von Moehrig 3-2 and Zakee Wheatley 4-1 FF were starters. Snap counts?
- Derrick Brown not showing up on the stat sheet 0-2, Aaron Hall 1-5 FR
Guru's IDP Notes: Chicago Bears
- Devin Bush 3-1 PD, T.J. Edwards 2-2
- Austin Booker and Dayo Odeyingbo with sacks, but nothing else 1-0-1
- Dillon Thieneman 3-4 PD, led the team in tackles two weeks in a row.
Guru's IDP Notes: Cincinnati Bengals
- Shemar Stewart 2-0-1 seeing time at tackle on passing downs.
- Starting edge guys were quiet; Cedric Johnson 3-1-2. Myles Murphy and Boye Mafe combine for 2-1
- Dax Hill targeted often but held up well 4-6 4PD
- Demetrius Knight Jr. 4-8 outshone Barrett Carter 2-3 this week
Guru's IDP Notes: Cleveland Browns
- Carson Schwesinger 4-5, Quincy Williams 4-2
- Browns turn to the blitz Grant Delpit 5-0-1, Ronnie Hickman 1-2-1
- Jared Verse 1-0 a no show.
- Mason Graham 1-2-1 with a sack in consecutive games

- DeMarvion Overshown out, Jaishawn Barham 4-3 FF, Dee Williams 7-2 FR were the starters. Snap counts
- Another big game for Caleb Downs 6-3 FF/PD
- Donovan Ezeiruaku back to earth 2-1
- Cobie Durant and P.J. Locke injured. Markquese Bell 5-1? role?
