Tuten is either gonna be the lead back in Jacksonville or underwhelm and be replaced by Chris Rodriguez. I favor Rodriguez in this situation, but if Tuten is good enough he will outperform his draft slot.

Top physical talent in Jaguars backfield, but not the most assignment-sound player in their backfield. Wide range of outcomes, but most likely is matchup flex.

Tuten steps into a premier breakout spot as Jacksonville's projected lead option following Travis Etienne's departure to New Orleans. His elite speed and contact balance give him a high ceiling in Liam Coen's offense, though he must fend off physical runner Chris Rodriguez to fully secure the goal-line work.

Liam Coen favorite Chris Rodriguez could cramp his style, but if the Jaguars entrust Tuten with the lead role, he has the athleticism and offensive environment to return first-round value from a fifth-round draft slot.

Chris Rodriguez may be the big free agent name entering the Jaguars' backfield mix, but he's a high-floor option whose touches are there to lose. Tuten is the player with everything to gain. 

Possessing a low center of gravity and top-end speed, Tuten must develop his pass protection and continue securing the ball better than he did in college. Tuten made a strong impression last year and likely made Travis Etienne and Tank Bigsby expendable. 

Look for an even split between Tuten and Rodriguez to begin the year. If Tuten can earn the hot hand early and run off a few big games, he could take over the feature role. 

If not, look for a slight edge in carries for Rodriguez and a 50/50 split with rushing scores.
