De'Von Achane

Achane has two great strengths. Speed in open space and being an exception receiver. As a runner, the big plays flatter the majority of his runs which show poor vision and leave yards untaken. The Dolphins are looking for a runner to make hard yards too and it wont be Achane. Overrated as a fantasy option. 

If the Dolphins utilize him to the fullest, he could reach 100 receptions. Especially now that Jonnu Smith is out of the equation. He just needs to stay healthy

Achane has become a proven big-play runner with enough down-to-down efficiency and volume to earn consideration as a top-10 fantasy talent. Injuries and lackluster offensive line play limited Achane's ceiling. If Miami returns to form, Achane could have a ceiling that places him among the top three. That "if" also underscores that Achane has the largest variance of outcomes among the top 10-12 backs on the board. Stay tuned. 

Showed passing game can raise his ceiling, potentially tied to quarterback health. 

His 4.32 40-yard dash speed is obvious on film. He's fast, quick, dynamic, and athletic. All of the above. He led all running backs in receiving yards (592). A dynamic dual-threat. In Tua Tagovailoa's 11 starts last season, he averaged 104.6 total yards and 6.1 receptions per game. That total yards per game number would've ranked seventh most, and that receptions per game number would've ranked 11th-most in the entire NFL if over the full season. Those are elite statistics with Tagovailoa on the field.

He led all RBs in receptions and receiving yards last season. He also scored six receiving TDs to go along with another six rushing. His passing game work seems to be dependent on having Tua Tagovailoa at quarterback, but as long as Tagovailoa is healthy, he has top-5 upside.

A true home-run hitter, with massive receiving upside. If the offense around him stays on track, his volume should be substantial.
