Matt Waldman
McCaffrey, like the rest of his family, is a good athlete. He began his career as a quarterback at Nebraska before transferring to Rice and converting to wide receiver. Entering his third season, McCaffrey is competing for one of the top 4-5 roles in the Washington passing game.
Terry McLaurin will be the primary. Chig Okonkwo, Rachaad White, and Antonio Williams will be vying for the second-most targets, and McCaffrey, Dyami Brown, and Treylon Burks will be competing for the WR3 spot.
Expect a rotation with McCaffrey and Burks, who are standing out in OTAs. Early reports suggest McCaffrey is stronger and faster, and it's showing up on the field thus far.
