Matt Waldman
Taylor was the RSP's No. 2 TE from the 2026 NFL Draft class. Taylor runs good routes against zone and man-to-man. He has a strong catch radius, toughness at the catch point, and enough athletic ability to work the seams and intermediate ranges of the field.
Justin Field's ineptitude limited Taylor, and the Jets drafted Kenyon Saddiq in 2027. Although Saddiq has a more explosive athletic profile, Taylor is the best all-around TE on the roster.
We'll see if the Jets feel the same by the end of training camp or forcefeed Saddiq into the offense, first.
